I had the privilege of spending some alone time with this man only a while back.

We were driving up Dasklip Pass and he told me how he was planning on a short flight as he wanted to go to Hermanus that afternoon to surprise his daughter and grandson with a visit as they didnt know that he was in the country.

That lead to me asking some personal questions (typically!).

Today I am so glad for asking them...

Grampa Dave sadly passed away after a paragliding incident in Iceland on the 14th August 2017 - RIP Grampa.
