Elephant Cottage is a lovingly-restored, and tastefully decorated, self-catering 3 bedroom house situated in the beautiful town of Porterville in the Western Cape, approximately 140 kilometres from Cape Town. The house sleeps 6, with a small child's bed available in one room for a seventh small guest. There is a fire place in the kitchen (kaggel) for those cold winters' nights which can also be used as an indoor braai. (An outdoor braai is also provided for the warm days.) Relax around the kitchen table for a meal or enjoy meals and sun-downers on the front stoep. Curl up with a book on the couch or watch some TV (DSTV provided - please bring your own smartcard) - Elephant Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Elephant Cottage is a 3 bedroom house which sleeps 6. R800 for the first 2 people and R200 pp thereafter.
